Humans have built, constructed, fabricated, plotted and created since before we could twist grasses together into ropes to mark geometric patterns into dirt. Suddenly some technology companies are investing in humanoid robots and the premise that humans can be made redundant from adding value to our civilisation and will instead settle to live in perpetual benefit of a globally untested theory that money can be created for every human to live on and that inflation or other mechanisms will not collapse the system or that the humans will not become so unsatisfied with the lack of value, meaning or responsibility in their lives. When I build an item I create something that is deeply tied to my own soul, I add spirit to those items from my own experiences. I have the hope after creation that what I have built can last for years, centuries, millenia or multiple millenia. I write on a Google platform but equally I am unclear and would question the journey leading Google that is presupposed to another page of a book. When structures and frameworks are centred on the cultivation of the acquisition and accumulation of skills and experience then the civilisation can really value people potential. What can be built in communion of robots and men would be a narrative structure working towards. Google already have a library of skills and experiences, this can be both magnified and made magnificent with every member of the society, we create and can continue to add value and meaning. To quote some others that "with freedom comes great responsibility" Our responsibility is to build an equitable future that our creative talents can be emphasised, expanded and transformed into a flourishing foundation for the future.
